★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A must whilst on the island...have a walk, visit the shops, have a drink or meal and best of all see the turtles. We were told between 10-12 each day but we saw them later in the day up towards the bridge. You've got to go and see them...so cool.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to see the turtles, lots of fish too. Lots of waterfront restaurants. Boat trips available too. Lots of shops. Very pretty views. Gets very busy from mid morning, so parking can be an issue.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This says port but it is a very beautiful small town with modern shops loads of restaurants cafes, a very nice promenade and the recent central square is a must to visit with many top restaurants around the square itself. Prices get more expensive in this area but are still about the same as UK prices. Sadly the day of going to Greece is not the cheap holidays
that we enjoyed 20 years ago, but still lower than many European cities.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lovely place for a walk. Beautiful scenery, lots of bars, tavernas and shops line the harbour. Ferry across to Lixouri every 30 mins. A walk across the refurbished bridge is a must.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice point of interest in Kefalonia. There are a lot of shops in proximity. You can also take your meal on the local restaurants/tavernas near the marina. There is a bridge in the port. From that bridge you can see the turtles and a lot of fish. Overall it was a good experience.
