★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent fish restaurant. The best sea view in Steni Vala of Alonisos . The fish was extraordinary cooked with the tradiotional old Aegean way. Delicius Scorpion fish.

Quality of the food was mixed: grilled octopus starter was very good (though a bit pricey), fisherman's spaghetti was ok, but the mussels were past their best (crumbly texture), the taramasalata was a disaster - very bland, like it was mostly bread, supermarket versions would have been much better! Service was good, but food needs to be much better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A wonderful experience. The owner/Mrs Afroditi is a lovely, heartwarming person who cares only about her customers, not making profit. The kalamari/squid was exquisite and everything in this place ooze hospitality. A true gem for the island of Alonissos!

Diver & Kalymnia is an authentic tavern in Steni Vala with direct access from the water. We have eaten here very often and enjoyed it every time.
All dishes were tasty, traditionally cooked and served with love. We‘ll be back.
