Be warned that when booking with this company as long as they have your money they are not interested whether you are happy with the service or not. We booked through our hotel a cruise Athos on the Beech. Included in the description was snorkelling and swimming. We particularly chose this one as opposed to Mount Athos Cruise as we were not particularly interested in seeing the monasteries and the description said it was 7 hours instead of 12 hours for the monasteries cruise. We sat on the cruise ship for 3.5 hours, which was the most boring journey ever we had very little music and when they did play it was not lively. Most of the other passengers looked bored. Lunch was provided but as me and my daughter didn’t eat pork (the meat balls were mixed with lamb, beef and pork) we were given cold beans and rice. The staff did not treat us well either after this experience. We arrived at a port and was told we had 2 hours to wander around. It took us about 15 mins to wander as there was nothing to see, least of all no swimming or snorkelling or even a beach either. So we were missed sold. On the way back on the cruise they had folk music playing which was ok, but not a very lively fun experience we were looking for. The whole trip, transfers included was approx 11.5 and we felt a waste of a day. We passed by the monasteries on the way but was so far from them it definitely wasn’t worth the trip. When we complained that we were missed sold and would like a refund we were told that we ‘took’ the trip and enjoyed ourselves therefore no refund. Of course we ‘took’ the trip. Once we were on board we were held ransom by them until they brought us back to shore and by this time we didn’t know what to expect. Mr Dagaleas was the rep. He certainly knew we didn’t enjoy the trip but blamed the hotel reception. Interesting though when we spoke to others from our hotel they were told the trip we originally wanted had been cancelled so wondering whether we were just put on another cruise hoping we wouldn’t notice.
