J	Jim Politis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Αγίου Βαλεντινου , καναμε κράτηση μια εβδομάδα πριν, είχαμε κακές θέσεις μπροστά ακριβώς από εκεί που παραλαμβάνει το σέρβις τα πιάτα (φασαρία και κακή αίσθηση) , λόγω ημέρας ήταν παντελώς ανέτοιμοι και όλα όσα πήραμε τα φάγαμε πολύ αργά (αυτό όμως δεν θα ήταν τίποτε αν τρώγαμε καλά), πρώτο πιάτο ορεκτικό σκορδόψωμο με σολομό … δυο κομματάκια ψωμί με σκόρδο και από πάνω σολομό (παρά πολύ λίγο για 6.5€ Αλλά οκ αν ήταν νόστιμο θα λέγαμε χαλάλι) μετά από 30 λεπτα ήρθε η σαλάτα Gambas (αν θυμάμαι καλά γιατί πέρασε απαρατήρητη) κακή επιλογή και ηταν και η πιο ακριβή στις σαλάτες(μικρή μερίδα και αυτή αλλά πάλι θα λέγαμε χαλάλι αν ηταν νόστιμη) μετά από 1:15 από την ώρα που φτάσαμε στο εστιατόριο , ήρθε το κυρίως πιάτο .. παπαρδέλες ragout (πολύ κακό πιάτο) και ένα ριζότο το οποίο ήταν οκ (αν δεν είχαμε στεναχωρηθεί από όλη την εμπειρία μπορεί να έλεγα καλό ριζότο αλλά λίγο) .. το λίγο γενικά το λέω γιατί δεν φάγαμε gourmet(ούτε σε εμφάνιση ούτε σε γεύση)για να δικαιολογήσουμε καπως τη σχέση τιμής με το πιάτο . Επειδή πήγαμε συστημένοι και σχεδον σίγουροι ότι θα φάμε καλά είπαμε να πάρουμε και γλυκό … Κρεμ μπρουλε πολύ μέτριο και η Κρουστα είχε πολύ πλάκα έφυγε μονοκόμματη. Λυπάμαι για την κριτική αλλά καλό θα ήταν να γίνουν καλύτερα τέτοιου είδους εστιατόρια αν θέλουν να δικαιολογούν τις τιμές τους. Το πρόβλημα δεν ήταν για εμάς τα χρήματα αλλά τα πιάτα και η ατμόσφαιρα. Είχε επίσης πολλά κρασιά μεν αλλά 3-4 ΜΟΝΟ για να μπορέσεις να πάρεις ποτήρι … αυτό είναι άσχημο για ένα εστιατοριο που θέλει να θεωρείται σοβαρό…φαίνεται λες και έχει 30 μπουκάλια κρασί και δεν θελει να τα ανοίξει γιατί δεν περισσεύουν. Για εμας πολυ κακή επιλογή για του Αγίου Βαλεντινου . Το μόνο καλό ήταν το σέρβις κι ο μετρ που ήταν ευγενικοί και ειδικά το ένα το παιδί στο σέρβις που μας ζητούσε συγνώμη για τις καθυστερήσεις. Ελπίζω να διορθωθεί και να δώσουν περισσότερη προσοχή ειδικά τις γιορτινές ημέρες στο θέμα ταχύτητας , άνεσης και στο πιο βασικό .. στο φαγητό . Valentine's Day, we booked a week ago, we had bad places right in front of where the service picks up the dishes (noise and bad feeling), due to the day they were completely unprepared and we ate everything we got very late (but that would be nothing if we ate well), first course appetizing garlic bread with salmon… two pieces of bread with garlic and salmon on top (too little for 6.5 € But ok if it was delicious we would say halali) after 30 minutes came the Gambas salad (if I remember correctly why it passed unnoticed) bad choice and was the most expensive in salads (small portion and this but again we would say halali if it was delicious) after 1:15 from the time we arrived at the restaurant, came the main course .. ragout papardelles (very bad dish) and a risotto which was ok (if we had not been upset by the whole experience I could say good risotto but a little) .. I generally say a little because we did not eat gourmet (not even in appearance nor in taste) to justify the price-to-dish ratio. Because we went recommended and almost sure that we would eat well we said to get a sweet… Cream brule very mediocre and the Crust was a lot of fun left one-piece. I'm sorry for the criticism but it would be good to make such restaurants better if they want to justify their prices. The problem was not the money but the dishes and the atmosphere. He also had a lot of wine but 3-4 ONLY to be able to get a glass… this is bad for a restaurant that wants to be taken seriously… it looks like it has 30 bottles of wine and does not want to open them because there are not enough. For us a very bad choice for Valentine. The only good thing was the service and the metro who were polite and especially the one at the service who apologized for the delays. I hope that it will be corrected and that they will pay more attention, especially during the holidays, to the issue of speed, comfort and, most importantly, to food.

Στην ουσία είναι το αδερφάκι του καφε-μπαρ Red nose ή αλλιώς η προέκταση του ... Το Don είναι η ευχάριστη έκπληξη της χρονιάς για τα μαγαζιά εστίασης στην πόλη του Βόλου!!! Ποίο συγκεκριμένα πρόκειται για ένα πραγματικό πολύ όμορφο και καλόγουστο μαγαζί....αλλά το ποίο σημαντικό και ή ουσία του θέματος είναι η πολύ καλή κουζίνα του. Δεν θα έλεγα ότι έχει πολύ μεγάλο μενού αλλά όλα τα πιάτα του είναι άριστα. Υπάρχουν επιλογές σε κρεατικά σαλάτες ή ζυμαρικά... κορυφαία κότσι στη γάστρα,φαρφαλες με κοτόπουλο, ταλιατέλες με τρούφα. Τέλος να αναφέρω το άψογο σέρβις που ολοκληρώνει την εικόνα του μαγαζιού. ...Με άλλα λόγια 10/10 In the city center on one of the most popular pedestrian streets is Don.
