★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are in Corfu, don’t miss this magical place and the amazing people that are working there. They are Angels! All the animals there are beautiful and super cute, we spent hours petting donkeys, dogs and cats and this was really healing? Please go, enjoy and contribute, all the hard work done in this place is thanks to the volunteers!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely amazing centre run mostly by volunteers and they do such a great job. It was heartbreaking to see how traumatised some of the animals were, which is why the work of the centre is so important. Would definitely recommend going and donating if you're in Corfu. They have donkeys, cats, dogs and some roosters!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Peaceful afternoon with theses gentle creatures. The volunteers work hard to care for over 30 rescued donkeys . They give them a good life. The animals are loving. We will visit again. They work with only the donations of people, so give a little when you go.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a great time, these people spend a lot of time and effort to do good by these lovely creatures. It is totally worth the trip, the kindly accept carrots or apples as donation if you have time to get some. There is plenty of space for the donkeys and it is great to see them have a home with lots of love. You can also go for an adoption and help to care for a specific one if you like. Thanks a lot for all your work!

Staff / volunteers gave us a brief introduction and then we could explore the grounds on our own.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A little off the beaten track but perfectly accessible by car. We brought some apples and carrots for the donkeys & made a donation (which without the public's help, they would not survive).
It's a tranquil place, with a team of dedicated volunteers who are providing the donkeys with the best life possible.
It's definitely worth a visit!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Donkey rescue Center really is a sanctuary. Tucked in between the olive groves and meadows you can tell that it is a peaceful place where the donkeys are well taken care of. The staff is friendly and explain about what the mission is and let you walk around freely to pet and comb the donkeys. There are also a lot of rescue cats and dogs on the premises. The entry is free and there is no one bugging you to give any money even though there is a box if you wish to leave any donations. You can also bring cat and dog food, but as instructed please do not feed the donkeys as some of them are in quite a bad shape and require special diet which the Donkey rescue center team is taking care of. Worth a visit, just be careful and drive slowly on the white road as it can get quite bumpy to get there and you can damage the bottom of your car if not careful.
