The Holy Trinity is a small church, above Avlonas, built under the rocky side slopes of northern Parnitha. There is a very nice recreation area around the church

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Καλο spot για σημείο συνάντησης με τους υπόλοιπους φίλους/ορειβάτες/πεζοπορους για κατεύθυνση προς Αγία Μαρίνα Πάρνηθας. Συνεχίστε ευθεία και παρκάρετε στην Λάσπο Λίμνη, έπειτα αφού περάσετε την μόνη έχετε τα μάτια σας ανοιχτά για στίγματα ή κορδέλες σε δέντρα ώστε να μην βγείτε εκτός μονοπάτιου. Η θέα θα σας δικαιώσει.
Επίσης η Μάχη του Κακοσαλεσιου έγινε στην επανάσταση της Ελλάδας το 1825 όταν 300 Τούρκοι με ιππικό και πεζικό έκαναν επιδρομή στο χωριό Κακοσαλεσι(Σημερινή Αυλώνα) σκοτώνοντας γυναικόπαιδα, έπειτα 50 πολεμιστές του Αθανασίου Σκουρτανιωτης κατατροπώσαν τις δυνάμεις του Ομερ Πασα Του Ευριπου βάζοντας το στα πόδια με 2 νεκρούς από κάθε πλευρά και 2 αιχμάλωτους στα χέρια των Ελλήνων.

Also the Battle of Kakosalesi took place during the Greek revolution in 1825 when 300 Turks with cavalry and infantry raided the village of Kakosalesi (Today's Avlona) killing women and children, then 50 warriors of Athanasios Skourtaniotis defeated the forces of Eumerius 2 dead on each side and 2 prisoners in the hands of the Greeks.
