Εκεί ετάφη ο κυριακουλης Μαυρομιχάλης ο οποίος έχασε την ζωή το σε μάχη με τους Τούρκους τον Απρίλιο του 1822 όταν προσπάθησε να προσφέρει βοήθεια στους αποκλεισμένους Σουλιώτες από τους Τούρκους.

Kyriakoulis Mavromichalis was buried there, who lost his life in a battle with the Turks in April 1822 when he tried to offer help to the Souliotes who were excluded by the Turks.
