★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Η εκκλησία της Αγίας Παρασκευής έχει μεγάλη ιστορική αξία, καθώς εδώ τελέστηκε η Θεία Δοξολογία για την απελευθέρωση της Λιβαδειάς από τον Αθανάσιο Διάκο και τους υπόλοιπους αγωνιστές τον Απρίλιο του 1821. Εδώ βρίσκεται και το παλιό κοιμητήριο της πόλης. Διασώζονται ελάχιστα ταφικά μνημεία, τα οποία όμως είναι ιδιαίτερα εντυπωσιακά. Θα μπορούσαν να συντηρηθούν και να αναδειχθούν. Αξίζει μια επίσκεψη στον χώρο.
The church of Agia Paraskevi has great historical value, as here the Divine Doxology was performed for the liberation of Livadia by Athanasios Diakos and the other fighters in April 1821. Here is the old cemetery of the city. Few burial monuments are preserved, but they are particularly impressive. They could be maintained and promoted. It is worth a visit to the place.
