★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Το ξωκλήσι είναι πολύ πολύ παλιό, όπως είπε ο πατέρας που έκανε το μυστήριο της βάφτισης που παρακολούθησα. Είναι πολύ μικρό αλλά σε μια μεγάλη έκταση με δέντρα που φέρνανε δροσιά στο κατακαλοκαιρο. Η Παναγία η Βαλτινιωτισα όπως μας είπε επίσης, είναι θαυματουργή, πολλά ζευγάρια απέκτησαν παιδί με τη χάρη της γι'αυτό πολλές βαφτίσεις γίνονται εκεί. Παλιότερα το χωριό εκτεινόταν γύρω από το εκκλησάκι αλλά οι κάτοικοι φύγανε και πήγαν πιο κάτω και χτίσαν το χωριό, λόγω κάποιου λιμού. Στις 15 Αυγούστου γίνεται μεγάλο πανηγύρι και έρχονται πολλοί πιστοί για να προσκυνήσουν.
The chapel is very very old, as the father who made the mystery of the baptism I attended said. It is very small but on a large area with trees that bring coolness to the summer. Our Lady of Baltinotissa, as she also told us, is a miracle worker, many couples have had a child by her grace, so many baptisms take place there. In the past the village extended around the chapel but the inhabitants left and went further down and built the village because of some famine. On the 15th of August a great festival is held and many faithful come to worship.
