 Pinios river delta. It's a shame that the beach is very dirty. Rubbish of all kinds.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hier fließt der Pinios endlich ins Meer, nachdem er sich durch die Tempi-Schlucht und das Flussdelta hindurchgeschlängelt hat. Auf dem letzten Stück ändert er im Winter andauernd seinen Lauf. Toller Platz für Treibholzsammler und Vogelbeobachter.
Leider liegt hier aber auch einiger angeschwemmter Plastikmüll - obwohl Umweltschützer immer wieder Säuberungsaktionen veranstalten. Nur zu Fuß (oder per Pferd:) zu erreichen, zumeist völlig einsam. Am WE kommen einige Angler, um hier ihr Glück zu versuchen..
Here the Pinios finally flows into the sea after winding its way through the Tempi Gorge and the river delta. On the last part it changes its course continuously in winter. Great place for driftwood collectors and bird watchers.
Unfortunately, there is also some plastic waste washed up here - although environmentalists keep organizing clean-ups. Can only be reached on foot (or on horseback), mostly completely lonely. On the weekend some anglers come to try their luck here ..

Beautiful place, Pinios river, nature, peace and quiet. You can rent a kayak and swim along the river bank.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nature 100% . If you are a bird observer or you like to watch fishes swimming in sweet water, you should come here. When the weather is calm, it is marvelous. If it is raining, you better watch out. In any case a place to visit!
