★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited in June 22. Stopped here after walking down the hill from our hotel after the main tourist buses had left for the day. The selection in the menu was good, but we stayed and ventured no further because of the very genuine welcome we received. The price was on par with other places we had eaten at throughout Greece and the food was good quality, but what made the place was the genuine welcome and some nice treats from the owners wife. I left well deserved tip at the end of our meal for the extra touches and great service. When we were heading back to the hotel the owner chased us down and gave us a bottle of water, so nice! Thank you!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We walked in for dinner when staying for the night at Mykines. This place was near our hotel. Very lovely restaurant owner. He was obviously thrilled to have us and was incredibly hospitable. We thoroughly enjoyed our simple meal of Greek salad, chicken souvlaki, eggplants and stuffed peppers. The town of Mykines is very quiet and peaceful after the big tour buses leave for the day. So we practically had the whole place to ourselves. The owner even surprised us with some wine and dessert to complete our meal. Would recommend people to check out this little family run restaurant. Just wholesome, delicious Greek food served by kind, gracious hosts.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went to the archaeological park and were driving to our next destination. While driving we were looking for a place to eat a late lunch and we passed a couple of places that didn't look that good. Then the man and woman who own the Electra Restaurant waved to us from their patio and that sealed the deal. We stopped and went in.
The food was fabulous and the owners were very kind. After dinner the wife wanted to give my son some ice cream, but we were too full. My steak was wonderful as were the fries. And the salad was amazing too. Simple and delicious.
Not only was the food excellent, but it was inexpensive. I don't know if I'll be back at Mycenae anytime soon, but if I am ... I'll make eating here part of the plan.
Great food. Great people. Great prices.
