Eleni Apartments-Texas bar - 1 MAIN ST

Very clean and tidy . Very friendly owners and staff. Good food as well. It's a little out of town but can walk in 15 minutes or a taxi is only 5 euros

Very dissapointing. We had horrendous weather and travel delays, and most of tbe area was still cleaning and getting ready for holiday makers. Our room was a studio, and very minimal standard, although it was very clean. TV had NO english programs . We were shocked to get a demand for 50Eur for the controller to put the aircon / heater on. None of the rooms get much sun, due to orientation, and our first one got none at all. The room was absolutely freezing cold ! I was told the wifi would be 14 Eur although it was not actually pass coded when I checked on the day we left. ( free everywhere else). We found better value food in the excellent apartments across the road, where tbe rooms were also better and cheaper ..Christina's. The snack food was only available till 8.00pm and draught beers are not available just bottles. Tbe gardens were lovely and the pool was fantastic, but we felt that we could have expected more quality for less cost. The worst thing is the road into town, which is DIABOLICALLY dangerous ! Too narrow, no causeway, rough, and it seemed more like 10.6 k not 1.6 k ! Car essential, if you dare drive on these, the worst roads, I have found anywhere !

Absolutely fabulous so far.Apartment lovely and clean. Family who run the apartments are friendly and informative. We still have a week left but loving every minute. Meal sizes are more than average and traditional dishes and beer not as expensive as in other bars. Highly recommend Eleni.

Had a great week in August. Lovely place to stay. Spacious rooms. Lovely warm clean pool. Bar area and food excellent and at good prices. Nice to be able to sit in the bar area with family in the evening to eat relax and listen to music. Sidari centre 15 minute walk away, lovely beach areas. Have booked to go back next year and hope to get there post Thomas Cook

This was my first time visiting Corfu and I couldn't have asked for a better introduction. We came as a group of 12 and all of us were made to feel so welcome by Jimmy and his family. We were treated exceptionally by them (even though I can imagine us not being the easiest bunch!) Jimmy's and Eleni's chats were welcoming and their cocktails even more-so! All of the food in their restaurant/bar was hand-cooked and prepared with such thought and care, you could really tell... It tasted amazing! The entertainment was great (not just saying that because I won the quiz) but all 12 of us had such a great night. Every time we went into Sidari we all said how much fun it was just to sit and relax in the bar at the apartments. The rooms were clean and well looked after, my only thought with the room would be that the mattresses were a little hard, but I didn't have many problems sleeping. We had a second floor, pool balcony room, we didn't feel the need to get air-con as the rooms had plenty of light and windows to open. Overall, the room was brilliant, its a humble, well decorated and kept within a nice cosy looking appearance, being well kitted out and the balcony being excellent to catch the last bit of sun in the evening. I'm currently eating some rather sorrowful looking fish finger butties and I wish I could have taken Helen home with me, her food was the best in all of Sidari!!! Since returning home I have told my partner all about Eleni apartments and coaxed him into our own little holiday, we will be booking into Eleni again as I couldn't have had a better experience! Thank you Jimmy, Eleni, Helen and family for having us, even if we were a bit rowdy ? we love you guys! hope to see you again soon! P.s if you do visit, please try Helen's baklava and Brownies... They'll send you into some sort of dessert fuelled paradise ?

We love this place, this was our 3rd time visiting and every visit has been lovely. A small family run complex, one of the cleanest pools we have ever seen, great food served at the restaurant bar. Rooms are a good size, clean and all with lovely little terraces mostly overlooking the pool. The hosts are always friendly and welcoming and really look after all their guests. Just a short walk to the main hub of Sidari, this is the perfect base for your stay. Everyone who stays at Eleni always leaves with new friendships made. If its a relaxing holiday, with great food and lovely people this is the place for you.

One hugely friendly and popular place to stay, we loved every minute - the owners, staff, food and drink are great. What was most impressive was the amount of repeat visitors, some back year after year for over a decade, to attract this kind of loyalty you have to be doing a lot right, and I certainly will be back

Excellent apartment, family owned and run. Will definitely go back again.
