Very nice cruise on a small ship. We were only 23 passengers, so the space was very comfortable. The ship from 1998 has recently been beautifully renovated in all public areas and adapted to modern standards. The cabins have so far only been carefully renovated (especially new carpets and a new SmartTV). We had a Cat B cabin, which was quite small but cozy. In the bathroom there is very little space for storage and no soap dish which is a bit annoying. The crew was extremely friendly and motivated and offered a very personal and familiar service. The food was always very tasty and varied, only the barbecue evening did not appeal to us in terms of quality. We found it a shame that even for breakfast you only got free filter coffee and, for example, cappuccino was charged at 3.50 euros. This should of course be part of a cruise in this price range. Even with normal cruises (Cunard, Princess) we never had to pay this extra. For Greek standards, the drink prices are at the upper end of the scale anyway, there are no happy hours and of course no alternatives. The course of the trip was sensibly adapted to the weather conditions. So some destinations of the trip were not reached and others were added. That was ok for us, the cruise director kept you informed in detail. Due to the size of the ship, it can get uncomfortable in strong winds. If you are not completely seaworthy, you should make provisions in the form of tablets or something similar. Overall, a recommendable experience with a friendly crew and nice, pleasant fellow travelers, which is pleasantly different from the usual cruise monotony. We found it particularly nice that smaller, lesser-known islands were also headed for and that there was always enough time to visit them.

I update the review as requested in the answer. We booked a cruise on Elysium boat through liveaboard.com departing on august 14th; the cruise was cancelled two days before departure ruining our holidays. I understand things can happen but what I don't understand is that until yesterday we didn't received a mail from liveaboard saying that the refund is done. As we fully paid one month before departure I can't understand I have to wait almost three months to get my money back, it's a lot of money and we're not rich people!. According liveaboard.com they don't refund until they receive the money from the operator. As I understand the concerns in the answer to this review and finally looks like we'll receive the money shortly, I give you "the benefit of the doubt" and I proceed to update the review to a "neutral" 3 stars.

Great cruise! Very spacious, well appointed boat;everything tastefully decorated and well equipped. The crew were outstanding, going out of their way to be friendly and helpful. Although the weather prevented us following the original itinerary, we visited some amazing places and I would recommend this to anyone as an ideal way to visit many of the Cyclades’ smaller islands as well as the more well known.
