β β β β β Great experience, we ate here several times. Things are kept pretty simple in terms of location and service, nothing stands out. The food, however is very tasty and the portions are generous.
There is also the option to request something special prepared (like lobsters) , but this can be discussed for the next day as all their ingredients are bought fresh each day and they might not have it in stock.
I would recommend anyone visiting Rethymno to come here and experience a great dinner.

β β β β β Google, can we have the sixth star? ? We know, from outside it seems like "the usual touristic restaurant" however that's the only touristy thing about it. The food is excellent, the service is friendly and very customer oriented. We ate in different places during our stay in the area but no one is like Ellinikon Taverne. We had a very good time during this holiday and many fond memories have been made here. We truly enjoyed the quality of each meal we have been served. Compliments to the chef and to everyone involved in the success of this place. highly suggested.

β β β β β We were a bit worried that it would have been a super Touristic Place (and though there is nothing wrong with it, is usually not the type of restaurants we look for). With our surprise the food was MORE than excellent and the service was friendly and very polite! We absolutely suggest this place to whomever is in Adele. Great!!!
