Emporio Cafe - Leof. Al. Papanastasiou 1

I went to this place in September and I loved it because it was cheap and the food was tasty. We went there in the morning so I ordered the waffles with bueno, oreo cookie and vanilla icecream and it was only 4,50! Big portions and there was a special offer that gave you a free cheesepie with your coffee. I decided to go there yesterday evening and my opinion about this place changed. First of all, when we arrived it took them 15 minutes to bring us a bottle of water and then another 10 minutes to bring us the menus. Actually they never gave us menus we just borrowed some from the table next to us. The menu was really hard to read and there weren't many options at all. I ordered the crepes with bueno and a scoop of cookie ice cream. The crepes were big but tasteless and really chewy and the ice cream and bueno portions were so small. My friends got a burger (it looked really low quality and the sauce smelled like eggs, the portion was small and it didn't have any taste at all ) and the chicken pasta which again was tasteless and unsalted. On top of that, our order took 1 hour to arrive ! After we had finished eating I felt sick and I couldn't easily digest the food. My friend felt the same. I think that this shop needs a lot of work, it's too expensive for what it has to offer, the staff isn't organised at all but at least everyone was kind and nice. Also the decor is really old and not aesthetically pleasing and i don't like the location. It's safe to say I won't be going there again :(

Great service hygiene protocols kept friendly service reasonable priced great food and coffee from 2 pm until 8 pm costs only 2.50 euros. Strawberry pancakes were out of this world. The serving is huge two people easily eat and feel stuffed. Same goes with other foods and desserts

I have been coming to this coffee shop for the last 12 years every year. Best location & best service. If only Melb had the same See you at Xmas again

Today I want to share with you my new finding! A wonderful place in which it is tasty, hospitable and beautiful! I still feel the taste of aromatic coffee and the incomparable taste of a club sandwich, one of the best that I have ever tasted in Athens! The variety of the menu will pleasantly surprise you! An interesting fact that the staff speaks Greek, English and Russian! Great cozy atmosphere! Affordable prices. Recommend!
