Η Ένωση Εκπαιδευτικών Εικαστικών Μαθημάτων είναι το επιστημονικό μη κερδοσκοπικό σωματείο των εικαστικών καλλιτεχνών, πτυχιούχων Σχολών Καλών Τεχνών, που διδάσκουν τέχνη στην εκπαίδευση.
Γενικός σκοπός της Ένωσης (ΕΝ.ΕΚ.Ε.Μ.) είναι η προαγωγή και ανάπτυξη της παρεχόμενης καλλιτεχνικής παιδείας και η ανάπτυξη νέων διδακτικών μεθόδων για τη διδασκαλία της τέχνης, ώστε να ανοίξουν οι δρόμοι της τέχνης σε όλους ανεξαιρέτως τους μαθητές. Παράλληλα εργάζεται για την ευρύτερη προβολή του καλλιτεχνικού έργου των μελών της, τόσο του ατομικού που επιτελούν ως καλλιτέχνες, όσο και ως εκπαιδευτικοί με στόχο την αισθητική καλλιέργεια μαθητών και κοινού.
