This way we got to known the city like a local and tried some super delicious regional food - it felt like we explored the city together with friends. I can only recommend Epiculiar to everyone! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have taken food tours around the world (including Venice, Italy and Memphis, US) as we think this is a great way to get under the skin of a city. This tour was excellent and our guide, Anastasia, was knowledgeable and enthusiastic and keen to share the culture and food of Thessaloniki.
We visited lots of interesting places and were introduced to some 'secret' places like a beautiful, hidden rooftop bar. The food stops were well chosen to describe the cuisine of the region and, by the end, we were full!
There was a glitch in booking via the website but this was resolved easily by contacting Epiculiar. The instructions and Google Maps links for parking and rendezvous with Anastasia worked perfectly.
Not cheap, but a great experience and highly recommended.
