Το Δυτικό σκέλος του Epirus Trail ξεκινά από την Κόνιτσα, περνά από τη μονή Στομίου, ανεβαίνει τη Νταβάλιστα και περνώντας από το Καταφύγιο Αστράκας φτάνει στο Μικρό Πάπιγκο.
Από το Μικρό Πάπιγκο πάει στο Μεγάλο Πάπιγκο και κατεβαίνει στις Πηγές του Βοϊδομάτη. Από εδώ ανηφορίζει το φαράγγι του Βίκου και καταλήγει στο Μονοδέντρι.
Από το Μονοδέντρι, περνά από τη Βίτσα και μέσω της Σκάλας της Βίτσας και της Σκάλας Κουκουλίου φτάνει στο Κουκούλι. Συνεχίζει στη Σκάλα των Κήπων και καταλήγει στους Κήπους.
Από τoυς Κήπους, ακολουθεί τον παλιό μουλαρόδρομο για τις Τεμπλίτσες και τον συνεχίζει μέχρι τη Δόλιανη. Από τη Δόλιανη κατεβαίνει στη μονή Βουτσάς και ανεβαίνει στο Γρεβενίτι. Από το Γρεβενίτι περνά στο Τρίστενο και από εκεί συνεχίζει στον παλιό μουλαρόδρομο για τη Χρυσοβίτσα. Τέλος, από τη Χρυσοβίτσα διατρέχει μια σειρά λιβάδια και ράχες, ενώνεται για λίγο με το Ursa Trail και καταλήγει στο Μέτσοβο μέσα από μια ελαφρώς διαφορετική διαδρομή.
Το σκέλος αυτό έχει μήκος περίπου 110 χλμ και έχει κατατμηθεί σε 8 ημερήσια τμήματα.
Epirus Trail / West leg
The western part of the Epirus Trail starts from Konitsa, passes through the Stomio Monastery, ascends Dvalistas and passes the Astrakas Shelter and reaches Little Papigo.
From Mikro Papigo go Papigo and goes down to the Voidomatis Springs. From here it ascends the Vikos Gorge and ends at Monodendri.
Since Monodentri passes from Vitsa via stairs Vitsas and the hood Scala reaches the hood. It continues on the Ladder of the Gardens and ends in the Gardens.
From their gardens, follows the old mule for Templitses and continues until Doliani. From Doliani goes down to Voutsas Monastery and up to Greveniti. From Greveniti passes into Tristeno and from there continues along the old mule to Chrysovitsa. Finally, from Chrysovitsa runs a series of meadows and ridges, briefly joining the Ursa Trail and ending in Metsovo through a slightly different route.
This strand is approximately 110 km long and is divided into 8 daily sections.
