★ ★ ★ ★ ★ CHEATERS! Weight of the fish was about 300 grams, and I've been charged for 500 grams. While placing order waiter told that weight is usually 400-500 grams so I asked for a small one and small one I got. But I,ve been charged for a biggest possible. Theft of 10 Euros.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great view and charming location but quality of the food was far from good. Octupus as main course (9 eur) was nothing more than a starter (see picture) and for sure not grilled at the moment we ordered. The seafood pasta (12 eur - next picture) didn't contain any fresh fish at all. Only frozen mix sea food which you buy in the supermarkt... We ended up with a relatively high bill and still feeling hungry... Really dissapointed in the food...

Positive: View next to the port.
Negative: bad cooked food , very expensive food *(example 1 finger octopus 12€ AND IT WAS NOT COOKED, 4 red fish "koutsomoura" very burned very small nothing but with lemon 12€ )
We went there because of the good reviews, maybe they had another chef now or not a chef at all , my son cooking better than that.
We visited that "not even close fish tavern" June 2021.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was our last day in Crete and we got to have dinner before the flight, so we chose a restaurant with good view and still near the airport
So, we ordered grilled octopus, squids and tuna steaks, all were great! Service was fast and warm, and we got free dessert ;)
Overall a great experience!

I can just highly recommend this place which you probably might be missing by your visit in Heraklion.
If you are looking for the fresh and delicious fish assortment don’t stop in the city center in the aggressively commercially restaurants.
The serves is great and very helpful. The food is super delicious.
Don’t miss it!!!
