Fantastic hotel, lovely owners, lovely staff. Can't wait to return in June

As long as you've set the right expectations, the hotel is great. I imagine it could've been a beautiful place many years ago. Now it's not too commercial or anything fancy and that's reflected in the price. Personnel is very friendly and the breakfast is quite alright! It's also very close to the beach and boulevard of Mirtos. All things considered I'd recommend this hotel for a stay of 3 to 7 nights.

Family run hotel with obliging staff and very clean facilities.Good location near to centre and beach and remarkable value for money.Child friendly and has own swimming pool.Lovely view of surrounding mountains and Minoan palace site atop hill.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Esperides hotel in Myrtos. The room was very clean with a great sea view. The location is very convenient just 2 min walking from the sea front . The service was amazing and the hotel staff always very polite and helpful. Highly recommended.

The location is convenient to the sea, restaurants, shops and to the village. The breakfast is lovely and included in the price. The dinners offered are spectacular - homemade Greek cuisine always prepared by the best. The rooms are clean and have beautiful views. Parking is free and convenient. I have stayed at least a week here, five times over the past seven years.

Good hotel, close to Myrtos, good breakfasts, excellent value. In the evenings the hosts offer a meal. These are excellent home made traditional evening meals. Good base to explore this delightful part of the island.

The Esperides is a family-run hotel, located right on the outskirts of Mirtos. The town and the beach can be easily reached on foot in 5 minutes. The friendly owners are very committed to providing their guests with a pleasant stay. All staff are attentive and helpful. The hotel has several room categories and also offers family rooms. The rooms are kept simple and functional and have a bathroom with shower, balcony, air conditioning, TV and fridge and a kettle. The hotel has a swimming pool with sun loungers, a shaded serviced terrace, a lounge area with a bar and a dining room where breakfast is served as a buffet. The breakfast deserves a special mention. It is diverse and leaves nothing to be desired. From typical Greek specialties to scrambled and fried eggs to sausage, cheese and honey or jams and sweet pastries and freshly squeezed orange juice. Everything is homemade from fresh and partly self-produced products. A multilingual library with holiday reading material and the hotel's own free parking spaces complete the offer.
