★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ωραία νοικοκυρεμενη ταβέρνα πάνω από την Καλαμάτα με καταπληκτική θέα στο Μεσσηνιακό κόλπο και στα γύρω βουνα. Έχει κυρίως πολύ ωραία ψημένα ζουμερα κρεατα , σαλατιτσες,εξαιρετικά νοστιμους ντοματοκεφτεδες και κολοκυθοκεφτεδες και καποιά μαγειρευτα . Είναι σαν μια ωραία σπιτική κουζίνα, χωρίς πολύ μεγάλη ποικιλια , αλλά ότι έχει είναι πολύ προσεγμένο και νόστιμο. Ο Παναγιώτης και η Ελένη είναι πολύ ευγενικοί και περιποιητικοι. Το συνιστώ και για τη θέση του και για την κουζίνα του.
Nice tidy tavern over Kalamata with amazing views of the Messinian Gulf and the surrounding mountains. It has mainly very nicely cooked juicy meats, salads, extremely tasty tomato meatballs and pumpkin meatballs and some cooked ones. It is like a nice home kitchen, without much variety, but what it has is very neat and tasty. Panagiotis and Eleni are very kind and caring. I recommend it both for its location and for its cuisine.

Obwohl Stromausfall, konnten wir hier bedient werden. Es wurde für uns kurzerhand der Generator und dann die Küche angeworfen.
Da wir die einzigen Gäste zu der Zeit waren, war der gesamte Abend sehr familiär. Unsere Tochter spielte mit den Kindern der Gastwirte und zwischendurch sogar mit der Wirtin selbst.
Das Essen(wir ließen uns überraschen) war landestypisch und fantastisch. Es wurde nur noch von der Aussicht übertroffen. Da konnte man auch schnell mal das Essen vergessen vor lauter staunen.

Although power outage, we could be served here. We were summarily summoned the generator and then the kitchen.
Since we were the only guests at the time, the whole evening was very informal. Our daughter played with the children of the innkeepers and in between even with the landlady herself.
The food (we were surprised) was typical of the country and fantastic. It was only exceeded by the view. Since you could quickly forget the food in the morning amazed.
