★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Σε αυτή την εκκλησία παντρεύτηκαν οι γονείς μου κοντά στο πατρικό σπίτι του πατέρα μου. Πολύ όμορφος βυζαντινός ναός με τρούλο , ο αρχιτεκτονικός του τύπος είναι μονόκλιτος σταυροειδής εγγεγραμμένος, με εκπληκτικές συντηρημένες τοιχογραφίες του 12ου-13ου αιώνα μ.Χ. από αγιογράφο προερχόμενο πιθανόν από την Κωνσταντινούπολη. Εντυπωσιάζουν τα χρώματα και οι λεπτομέρειες των μορφών. Το κτιστό τέμπλο είχε και δεύτερο στρώμα τοιχογράφισης που αποκολλήθηκε και εντοιχίστηκε μέσα στον μικρό ναό του Αγίου Νικολάου που βρίσκεται κοντά στην κεντρική πλατεία του χωριού μου.
In this church my parents got married near my father's paternal house. Very beautiful Byzantine church with a dome, its architectural type is single-aisled cruciform inscribed, with amazing preserved frescoes of the 12th-13th century AD. by a hagiographer probably from Istanbul. The colors and the details of the shapes are impressive. The built iconostasis also had a second layer of frescoes that was detached and built into the small church of Agios Nikolaos which is located near the central square of my village.
