K	Kim & Bill Sarsfield on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice equipment BUT, the owner doesn’t like people sweating while working out! He expects €20 euro paying tourists to stop their workout and wipe down the machine with their own sweaty towel and then wipe it down with the same sweaty towel at the end- no wipes or spray! Then he has the nerve to interrupt you to wipe it down and even argue. He said he hates tourists while operating his business across from the most beautiful hotel! Do NOT give them your €€!

V	Valentine001 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very well equipped and good gym. They explain the rules as you would expect in any gym and it's clean with loads of weights and machines. I bought a 7 day pass for 50 Euros which considering the excellent music, equipment level and all the attractive people working out in a committed way is good value. I've been to a lot of gyms and have worked as a fitness instructor so I understand the need to explain the basics to people especially tourists to maintain good standards and make a gym work for everyone there.

I	Imran Akbar on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic gym. Best in Greece! I visited while I was holidaying in Santorini but had reservations after reading the reviews on here. How wrong was I? The owner Yannis was very hospitable, while Joanne on reception and Alex the gym personal trainer are both a credit to the business. I used gyms across Greece during my stay but none were on the same level as Evexia. The key to having a good experience at Evexia is to respect the gym!

I have been lifting weights for over 10 years in NYC and other places in the US / Asia, so I am very familiar with gym etiquette and culture. Overall the gym is very nice, but there is a highly onerous and oppressive management team. The trainers are extremely watchful of your every move and constantly interject with various prohibitions and unhelpful mandatory suggestions. For example, I was not allowed to bench press with no clips because this jeopardized the floors in case of weights falling, when I mentioned that clip-less bench press is basic safety I was told to just do it. 2 or 3 other such small incidents not worth mentioning. Cardio had a 15 minute limit, some benches not allowed to be moved, etc. Yoga cant be done (it’s forbidden actually, since they have paid yoga classes) I managed a good workout but not coming back, would rather lift rocks on the beach

W	William Edwards on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great gym that has everything you need on holiday. I read the reviews about rude owner and staff but that couldn't be the farthest from the truth. All of the reviews saying they don't like tourists aren't accurate. I'm convinced the people leaving these reviews have zero gym etiquette and most likely weren't putting weights back and not wiping down machines. This is the only place to train whilst on Santorini. They have life fitness and panatta equipment which is the highest range of training equipment. Plenty of leg machines and everything you need for upper body. Again as long as you have decent gym etiquette and common sense you'll love training here!
