K	Ken Davis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While shopping in Chania, lunch time came upon us. Looking around we found Evie’s Cafe Restaurant and sat under an umbrella for lunch. Ordering Gyro plates, Souvlaki, Horiatiki Salads, Tzatziki, Pita Bread and some beers. We had one last Greek food fest on our tour of the Mediterranean. The Horiatiki Salads came with a small bottle of Olive Oil to allow us to dress the salad to our taste. This was a great option for us. The salad was delicious as were the Gyro’s, Souvlaki and pita. The Tzatziki was amazing and we had to order more pita to dip and eat it. And the beer was the right match to the meal. The service was very good. I appreciated the hosts allowing me to revive my minimal knowledge of the Greek language. They helped me with a couple words and were never critical of my attempts. They made us feel special.

G	Geoff Cann on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very nice restaurant. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the food and ingredients they serve. The Moussaka is prepared according to a traditional Cretan recipe and was delicious. The house wine, both red and white is excellent.

Cannot fault a single thing, it's absolutely delicious and excellent value. However, what really makes this place are the owners - the friendliest of any restaurant in the old town. If you're not sure where to go for a meal during your stay, stop by here. You won't be disappointed :)

I got delicious Salmon salad with avacodo, raisins etc. Now I am drinking Greek coffee tastes good too. I appreciate nice people, food and warmly atmosphere. I could definitely recommend it to go there if you will be in the Old Town. Thank you and enjoy this Cafe Restaurant. With love. :-) Kate

We had the Greek sharing platter which was bulked out with chips underneath (described as fried potatoes I thought would be like chunks of roast potatoes) which was a shame, some of the individual dishes were lovely - moussaka, imam and zucchini fritters but the beef meatballs were pink in the middle which is fine if you like pink beef.
