Die Zimmer bieten alles was man sich für einen erholsamen Urlaub wünscht. Toller Service und hilfsbereites Personal sei hier ebenso erwähnt. Wir kommen im Juni wieder! Weiter so! Great area, great holiday! I can only recommend these newly renovated rooms and suites. We felt very comfortable here with the family. The rooms offer everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Great service and helpful staff was mentioned as well. We will be back in June! Keep it up!

Der Pool im Schwesterhotel Erato (3 Häuser weiter) kann mitbenutzt werden, der Strand von Gournes ist 1 km entfernt. Das Essen wird ebenfalls im Hotel Erato eingenommen. Es gibt morgens und abends Buffet mit kretischen Spezialitäten. In der Hoteltaverne sitzt man gemütlich - abends sogar unter freiem Himmel. Die Atmosphäre im Hotel ist sehr familiär und gemütlich. Gournes liegt ideal, um die Vielfalt der Insel mit dem Mietwagen zu erkunden. Auch eine Bushaltestelle befindet sich direkt vor dem Hotel. Ausflugsmöglichkeiten mit Kindern: Seaquarium (direkt im Ort), Wasserpark Watercity (3 km), Knossos, Ausflug an die Strände der Südküste (Mietwagen). We are here with the family and enjoy the spacious apartment in the complex, which has a typical village character. The pool in the sister hotel Erato (3 houses further) can be used, the beach of Gournes is 1 km away. The meal is also taken at the Hotel Erato. There is a buffet with Cretan specialties in the morning and in the evening. You can sit comfortably in the hotel tavern - in the evening even under the open sky. The atmosphere in the hotel is very familiar and cozy. Gournes is ideally located to explore the diversity of the island by rental car. There is also a bus stop right in front of the hotel. Excursion possibilities with children: Seaquarium (directly in the village), water park Watercity (3 km), Knossos, excursion to the beaches of the south coast (rental car).

Ich finde es könnte man noch ne Regal hintun, und hängeschränke....es ist ziemlich wenig Platz zum Sachen Verstauen. Ort an sich ist so lala , gute Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge, aber im Ort selber ziemlich langweilig, zum Strand muss man ca 20min laufen Rooms are relatively clean, plus new bathrooms. I think you could add a shelf and wall cupboards... there is very little space to store things. The place itself is so-so, a good starting point for excursions, but in the town itself it's pretty boring, you have to walk about 20 minutes to the beach
