You can get tickets here and get bus to the other side of the island and the airport! Buses are not to regular so check their timetable or ask! The ticket shop had a friendly lady while the drivers were somewhat rude and not very helpful. Anyway for 2 euros you can save around 45mins walk to the airport which is good. If you are in a hotel near the airport you can take the bus and get closer then walk back.

The bus was crouded and the freqeuncy of the bus leaving was one hour, which led to the place being crouded. Hopefully it was May.

BEWARE if you have ferry connections! Lots of buses to the main places of interest but it’s operated very badly (just see the chaos as buses arrive and depart) and it’s expensive for many of the routes. Why are they still operating with timetables taped to boards? Why is the website not updated with clear information? Where is the clear information on approximate journey times and costs? If planning your trip in advance why do you have to visit online blogs and forums to find bus information because they cannot provide it on their website? For those catching a ferry they charge €2.50 per person (!) from the new port (where almost all ferries arrive/depart) and yet a taxi can be under €10, so well worth it for a couple of people. Our experience: There is no information on journey times. We asked the journey time to the new port (for our ferry) and were told it’s 10mins away. No one tells you the bus goes via the airport so your journey will be around 25mins, longer if traffic is bad. Due to a limited timetable we were catching a bus which should have got us to the port with 20mins before departure. As the bus departed over 10mins late (!) and then went to the airport (which is not clear from the timetable information) we arrived as our ferry departed. Goodbye ferry tickets! In hindsight it would have been cheaper and more pleasurable to catch a taxi.

Not the most confusing bus station I've ever been to - helpful staff with very good English

Bus had the wrong sign in the window, thus it left to the beach we were trying to go to without telling a large group of us. The next bus was in an hour and a half. We opted for a cab. When trying to bus home from that beach, the bus pickup was +15 minutes late. Terrible system.

Disorganised, hot (no shade), no seating, a single ticket booth and dangerous (but impressive!) manoeuvring of the buses in a tight space full of tourists who apparently want to get flattened. But as a hub for getting around Mykonos, this is where the buses are at. Weird that you need to buy your ticket from the booth rather than on the bus like it is everywhere else.

It is definitely the cheaper option in comparison with the taxi or rental. People who are around the bus station are not that friendly and also timetable is not always correct, a precaution if you have to take your flight. The bus is approx arriving 15min prior....
