Good place with friendly owners Maria and son Demitris.They have a lovely garden which is very peaceful and has shade. Food was good but there was a limited menu at the time as the season was only just starting. Breakfast was very good with a lot of local produce

Great location. Marathias beach is, based on my opinion, best beach on Corfu. Big, long beach, crystal clear water, clean, not crowded. For all recommendation! Family studios is about 50 m to the beach. Nice accommodation, not 5 stars, but nice, decent. Owner are very friendly and helpful.

Family studios are a great options for staying in the south side of Corfu. The food at their restaurant is amazing, making for a true corfiot culinary experience. The hosts (Dimitri, Maria and Maria) are amazing people, of the nicest kind and being in their company is a wonderful experience.

The location & setting is excellent. Proximity to a very nice beach - Marathias beach is just 4 minutes of lazy-walk away - you can find there several beach bars, some of them offering sunbeds & umbrellas for free, if you order drinks/ food from them. A great place for awesome sunsets, also. Additionally, the location is generally quiet, especially at night. You can find peace of mind & relax at the owners’ taverna or in the garden, and also get a good night sleep during your stay. The garden is nice and relaxing, also having park spaces with natural shadow, which really helps in a hot summer day. We stayed in a small studio, not yet renovated, but clean & offering the basics. The owners are in progress with room renovations and we got a glimpse of such a newly renovated room, that looks very nice. The family-run taverna offers amazing home-cooked meals, Maria (the mother of Dimitri) being an excellent chef, and their portions are generous. They serve their guests that opt in for half-board, but they are also open for other customers that enjoy authentic greek food in a nice setting and with a view to the sea. To all this, add a special ingredient - the owners personality & attitude. They truly make you feel as staying at your Greek home. Maria (the mother) offered us fresh fruits and vegetables from her garden, and Dimitri is an exceptional host, offering advice, great tips & tricks to visit the island and a glimpse in the corfiot life. Also, his wife, Maria and son Spiros, add to this family atmosphere, making for an unforgetable stay.

Dimitri and his family made us feel like home. The room is basic but clean, new towels and sheets frequently changed. The location is very quiet and very close to the beach. Marathias has one of the most beautiful and sandy beaches from corfu. The food made by Dimitri and Maria is so tasty and authentic. He is very helfpul with recommendations. In front of the taverna, there is a very cute shop owned by his aunt, where you can find anything you need. Ideally to get by car, since there are 2 km to the village.

What makes this place outstanding from any other is a hospitality of landlords. Their guests are not just another tourists, we felt truly taken care of. We will certainly remember delicious meals and cuisine for a long time.
