Εντυπωσιακή αν και δεν μας δόθηκε η ευκαιρία να τη θαυμάσουμε και από μέσα γιατί ήταν κλειστή. 12 το μεσημέρι που πήγαμε δεν είναι απαγορευτική ώρα, και μάλιστα Σαββατοκύριακο, και επειδή η εκκλησία κατατάσσεται στα σύγχρονα μνημεία θα έπρεπε να διευκολύνεται η πρόσβαση όσων θέλουν να τη γνωρίσουν καλύτερα
Still a masterpiece of Ziller in the town of Aigio. Impressive though we were not given the chance to admire it and from inside because it was closed. 12 at noon is not a prohibitive time, and even a weekend, and since the church is ranked in modern monuments, access should be facilitated for those who want to get to know it better

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Εξαιρετικής ομορφιάς ναός! Ο Ιερός Ναός Κοιμήσεως της Θεοτόκου (Φανερωμένη) η ανέγερσή του άρχισε το επόμενο έτος 1899 για να λειτουργήσει ημιτελής το 1914. O ναός είναι και μνημείο, αφού σχεδιάσθηκε από το μεγάλο Βαυαρό Αρχιτέκτονα Ερνέστο Τσίλλερ. Ο ρυθμός του είναι μεγαλοπρεπής βυζαντινός σταυροειδής μ’ έναν εντυπωσιακό τρούλο, που υψώνεται στα 25 περίπου μέτρα ύψος και πατά σε τεσσάρες ανακουφιστικούς πεσσούς (τετράγωνες κολόνες) που τον στηρίζουν.
Temple of exceptional beauty! The Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary (Faneromeni) began construction the following year in 1899 to be unfinished in 1914. The church is also a monument, after being designed by the great Bavarian Architect Ernesto Ziller. Its rhythm is a majestic Byzantine cruciform with an impressive dome, which rises to a height of about 25 meters and presses on four relief pillars (square columns) that support it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Περάσαμε από το ναό για να προσκυνήσουμε την εικόνα της Παναγίας της Τρυπητής. Λόγω ανακαίνισης του ναού της την έχουν μεταφέρει στον εν λόγω ναό.
We passed by the temple to worship the icon of the Virgin of Tripiti. Due to the renovation of her temple, she was transferred to that temple.
