★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you like quiet not too crowded beaches, this is perfect for you. One side is perfectly still most of the time while the other side is wavey so you can even pick what you prefer. It's the most crowded around the shipwreck, but the very end itself is always almost empty. The only problem is getting to the end since it's too long of a walk and it couls be difficult for smaller cars to deal with sand by the end of the beach.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A spectacular and curious moment in nature. The more forceful tide to the west and the calm shallow on the East and you can walk to the tip of the point where each exists on either side of your feet. I love moments and places like this where the earth is up to something weird. Very magical and it’s a far enough walk that it feels remote and moody. There are a few great photo ops around with the sunken ship, the wall with a door and the little church. All the elements you need for a Terry Gilliam movie like Time Bandids
