Fengeros Village - Megalli Ammos

Best budget travel place so far - amazingly clean, daily room service, welcoming and always cheerful owner. Room was really nice but only come with bare essetial things, so better bring your dishwash detergent & sponge if you want to use the kitchen, for example. Wonderful sea view in a quiet countryside envinroment. Be sure to cuddle with the neighboor donkeys, it adds up to the unique local experience.

I had a very difficult time with this hotel. Firstly, its a steep 20 minute walk up hill from the town. It is old, broken down and very sparse furnishings. The hotel doesn't offer meals. The beds were so hard and the room full of mosquitos. The only things nice about this hotel are the view and the young man who offers good information about the town. It is a cheaper option but not worth the savings. Better find another hotel with more attention to details and guest's comfort.

Many plus points here, love the views, pool, padded sun beds, cleanliness and the fairly close proximity to town (around a 20 min walk) bus stop 4 is just on the main road at the bottom of the drive and lane. This is a quiet family hotel and the bar was closed at 21:30 ( I believe it’s 22:30 in high season) beware if you decide to book a higher floor room because you have around 71 steps to climb To the top ones (with your luggage) which are to be added on top of the quite steep drive. We are quite fit but got taxis home from town in the evenings and asked the driver to take us right to the top when we discovered there is a back road, it’s very steep! cost around €7 and worth every euro as we couldn’t face the climb after Having a meal out, there’s lots of parking spaces if you hire a vehicle. Also there’s a couple of decent supermarkets down the hill for everyday supply’s, It’s also nice to walk on the sandy beach of megali ammos into town of an evening stopping for a cocktail on the way or eating at one of the lovely restaurants there, the views are just stunning, our favourite was del mar. We have been to Skiathos nine times now and have already booked here for next year, Fengeros village really takes some beating . Alexandra, George and stammos are laid back, friendly, lovely people always on hand if you need anything & do some lovely bar meals. We had a total chill out, would recommend without hesitation.

Amazing and comfy place with great view! I spent my summer vacation 2019 there and I absolutely loved the hotel and the island. The stuff working there is very polite and helpful with whatever we asked for

I was there for a week and next year i eill visit again.. Nice rooms and very close to town. No bike or a car is needed, if you cant walk on a hill, it is better to rent a bike.. you will never have a problem with parking as there are Free parking in Fengeros Village. The prices are reasonable and very nice views. Clean pool, nice breakfast , Giorgos and Stamos was very polite and helped us with everything. See you next time

The staff hear go above the call of duty the second day of out holiday i fractured my heel so was on crutches for the whole time we were on the very top they offered me another room and the two owners George and stamos came up every day in there own car and brought me down to the pool and took me back up when i wanted to go back also when the rest of our group went on trips george came up and took me on a tour of the island and stopped for lunch and would not take any money off me i have been to 15 or more countries and have never had the service that i have had hear we are going to book up the same hotel for next year so i can get to see more of it and hire a car. I would also like to say that we traveled with Jet2.com & the company & our Rep Chloe also went above & beyond to help us so a massive thanks to Jet2.com & Fengeros Village.
