Στην αίθουσα του πλέον λαμβάνουν χώρα εκδηλώσεις τοπικών συλλόγων και ομίλων, ομιλίες, συγκεντρώσεις, χοροεσπεριδες, και άλλες δραστηριότητες που αφορούν την τοπική κοινότητα ή τον δήμο Φιλοθέης Ψυχικού. Σαν Παλιό Δημαρχείο αναφέρεται και η πλατεία με τα παγκάκια μπροστά στην είσοδο και είναι σημείο συνάντησης Φιλοθεατων.
