Flamingo Apartments - Moraitika

Et rigtig fint tre stjernet hotel. Vi havde en god lejlighed, men støjen fra vejen påvirkede desværre min nattesøvn, min mand var ikke påvirket - her er tung trafik. Det ligger 1.5 km fra stranden på en meget trafikeret vej - lej en bil. Rigtig sød værtsfamilie og en dejlig pool :)

GREAT AND WARM PLACE WITH AMAZING PEOPLE AND DELICIOUS FOOD.

If you want a hotel environment with cleaners picking up after you and a daily room turn down service then this is definitely not the place for you. However if you want a clean room, good food and a warm friendly slightly crazy atmosphere and to feel part of the family you should definitely stay here. Dora and Vasilli make you very welcome from the moment you arrive, their children Melina and Pavlo are two of the most well behaved, friendly, hard working and helpful children I have had the privilege to know in a long time. They help in the evenings bringing out Vasilli’s wonderful home cooked, fresh local food and clearing the tables. They are so polite at all times and not forgetting Nikki, the family dog who is very adorable and also very well behaved and very clever. Dora and Vasilli offer lifts to people going out to eat or into town or the nearby beach if they have no transport, you only have to ask if you need something, nothing is ever too much trouble. Breakfast is a very relaxed and laid back continental affair even if you get up late that’s ok. Dora organised breakfast for 7 am the day we left even though she was also trying to get two children off to school. Vasilli is an excellent cook and the evening meals are a plentiful three-course affair. The main course is whatever Vasilli can buy fresh that day along with Greek salad and beautiful fresh bread and was different every day we were there. Deserts are mostly fresh fruit with Greek yogurt drizzled over with local honey or delicious sauces that finishes the meal perfectly that is if you can manage it as the portions are very generous. We spent many of our evenings like part of the family with Dora and Vasilli drinking and chatting and always laughing. The apartments are on a main road and we had a ground floor apartment overlooking the spotlessly clean pool but I can honestly say it did not disturb me at all. There was some confusion with our transfers the day before we left and Dora took the phone number, called them, and sorted it out much quicker than we could have done. If I return to Corfu again I am not going unless I can stay here, Flamingo Apartments have many return guests who phone and book direct time after time again which I think says a lot. I was sad to leave and would have loved to stay longer. Highly recommended.

I visit this wonderful,beautyful place for the first time with my wife and 2 kids....We stay there for 7 nights. We where so glad that we choose this place for our holidays .The pool was huge and very clean during our stay there.The apartment we had was AMAZING.. comfortable and spotless clean. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you so much Dora and family for everything you did to make our holidays one of the best we have ever had!!!We would definitely stay there again .

Our stay at Flamingo was just GREAT!!! The owners where incredible nice people, who run the bussines and make you feel like home . Lovely place,great swimmingpool ,beautiful apartments and so clean. After 6 nights staying there with my husband we decided to book directly for our next visit !!! We can"t wait to go back and be a part of the lovely Flamingo family !! Just returned from a fabulous stay at Flamingo Apartments (Sept 2020) ❤️ just what we needed after everything that has been going on in regards to Covid 19! Our double room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The homemade cooking was superb ?The family run hotel is the perfect place to stay when visiting Corfu Island. I have stayed before and will definitely be returning with my family / friends. Thanks again to Dora and her family for looking after us during our stay ?? xxx

Our stay in Corfu was great, but it turned into an unforgettable experience because of Dora and her family! The room we stayed in was simplistic but super clean. There was air conditioning (which was amazing!), a small kitchen, and a spacious bathroom. From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed and taken care of. Every morning we were excitedly asked what our plans were for the day, and the necessary recommendations, tips, or even hidden spots were given to us for all of our activities. Dora and her family truly went above and beyond to make sure that we did not only enjoy ourselves, but that we would never forget the amazing week on the island. I would absolutely recommend the apartments, truly a wonderful experience.
