Frequent shuttles to Angali, 2 euros, Karavostasis 1.8 euros, and up. Someone without a car is well covered by services, there is a rush hour

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed by the port and used the local bus exclusively for getting around the island. It was perfect - timely departures and cheap. If you want to spend the evening anywhere other than Chora you may need a car/ATV, as the buses don't run very late from the other stations. Equally if you want go further off-road on the northern part of the island and don't wish to hike you may need something other than the bus. We didn't feel a need to do so.
