Folies Corfu Hotel Apartments - Stratia

The staff is really nice, but the room was awful, we had to ask for everything: blankets, bowls, spoons.. There was no important things like salt or olive oil for cooking (in an apartment hotel please) and most important, the wifi didn't worked in the room (even after the staff rebooted it 3 times). Not a 3 star for me.

What a lovely surprise! An oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the roads. Wonderfully friendly and complete reception by Anastasia with guidance to facilities, the apartment and the area. Perhaps not as close to old Corfu Town for a walk in but buses run just outside. The grounds, rooms, views, pool and adjacent resident chickens and cockerels add to the lovely warm flavour of the place. I'm sorry to be staying one night only but thoroughly recommend the Folies. Appt 6 with double aspect balconies was perfect for our needs.

Amazing accommodation and excellent customer service. My friends and I stayed in a hotel in Kavos for a few nights and decided upon arrival to Kavos to stay our last night in Corfu City. We then booked this hotel a week in advance thinking it was the right date. We discovered once we got to Folies that we had accidentally booked the room for the same day but a month later. Coming from Canada, we had no where to go nor did we know anyone nearby. The very kind receptionist informed us that all their rooms were booked at both properties but she relentlessly searched for a room in another hotel for us. She had even called the property owner to come by and see what he could do for us. The owner was beyond benevolent and considerate. He cared very much about our situation and was more than welcoming. He granted us access to all the hotel facilities (pool, showers, bathrooms, bar,...), gave us space to leave our luggage and even showed us all the nice places to go to in the city. The owner was so beyond what he should have been and we could not be more grateful. Absolutely amazing staff! The property itself is beautifully put together and very clean. It's also very close to the airport and only 15 minutes away from the town/main beaches. Would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in Corfu city!

Closer to Airport. Outside of the city crowds, a quite place to stay. The swimming pool was very good. Friendly and helpful staff.

Very nice hotel with helpful staff. Quiet and comfortable. The swimming pool is pretty much bigger than I expected. The food at the bar at the swimming pool is good and not expensive. As a disadvantage I must point at the air conditioning which is switched automatically to the preselected temperatures.

Nice hotel with pool and very clean interior. The room was with some minor problems, smoke smell, broken door, no kitchen towel. More major problem was that the sofa bed in the living room was broken, the boards kept falling out. In the end disappointing

So so. Good enough to have a place to lay your head down but is not close to anything, if you are walking. I booked one night here to visit Old Town and had a flight out in the morning. Neither are close. It was 10€ to Old Town and 15€ to the airport by taxi (5 min rides) but are difficult to get for short distances in Corfu. The hotel staff were helpful but the hospitality felt sterile. Imagine interacting with an airline customer service agent. Nothing memorable to write home about.

Lovely enclosed resort with access to a pool. Bar is open from 9-5, and rooms were spacious and well presented
