If you enjoy forest walks and gorgeous views, Foresta is the place to stay. More a lodge than a hotel, it is comfortable and well-appointed. Nadia and Christos are great hosts. Highly recommended.

I've been here with my girlfriend in March. Upon arrival we got a local drink and a small snack, it was a very nice welcome. The hotel owners were very helpful and pleasant. We were kindly treated and our stay was amazing. The hotel is located in a quiet hilltop location with beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. I recommend visiting the Greek countryside and not just the beaches and nightlife.

Lovely setting in the deep Peloponnese. Nice sized room slightly ruined by some unfinished details (exposed wires, loose sockets) Slight confusion when we arrived. We were handed a key to a room with two dead hornets in it. When we asked to move because of noisy neighbours, the owner was obliging, when they eventually turned up. We found glass in the Greek yoghurt at breakfast.

More of a small rustic lodge or inn than a hotel, the Foresta exudes warm Greek hospitality -- owners Nadia and Christos can't do enough for guests -- but with a touch of sophistication too. We loved the natural appearance of the stone buildings and the stone and wood decor of our room. The decor is repeated in the lovely cafe-bar, which has an enormous wood-burning stove. The delicious food isn't typical tourist fare either -- it reflects more modern Greek cuisine, a seasonal menu with Peloponnese specialities, using locally sourced ingredients, including from Christos's family gardens. We also loved the proximity to the traditional village of Vlachokerasia -- a real place where real people live (don't look for any postcards here). And yet the Foresta is very convenient as a base for day trips to famous archaeological sites across the Peloponnese. But mostly it's the AMAZING views of the forest and Taygetos mountain range, and the clean mountain air, that caused us to return here -- and we'll be back again. We've been all over Greece many times so we know the Foresta is utterly unique -- it really is the "other" Greece -- tranquility surrounded by nature.

Nice clean rooms with fireplace, excellent quality breakfast and friendly owners. Located at 1100m its ideal to relax from the city buzz.

The perfect stopover for people visiting major sights in the Peloponnese. Wonderful, knowledge hosts, great food.

I wish I could say we were able to stay the night like we planned, but unfortunately our car was broken into that afternoon and I needed to be at the embassy the following morning. I called the hotel and the woman I spoke with graciously cancelled our reservation without penalty. We truly appreciate your kindness. The people we met during our stay in Greece were amazing and we have to remember the amazing people we met vs the selfish and destructive ones. We will definitely be back to Greece and we hope to stay at your hotel this time. Thank you for your kindness.
