★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Once we discovered this place, we came back each morning during our stay in Agia Effimia and ate some wonderful baked treats on the harbour. The couple who run the bakery are really, really lovely, and gave our baby boy a biscuit each time they saw him. Our favourite place in the town!

The owner is super hospitable, kind, generous woman who also has amazing sense of humour :) i bought 6 chocolate croissants before leaving Kefalonia to bring home so that other members of my family can try them but ended up eating them all ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The most delicious pies! We stopped most mornings to pick up something for breakfast/a snack. The cheese and spinach pie is heavenly, as are the little feta filo triangles and the cheese and ham pie. Maria is welcoming and will always offer you a fresh piece from the over if she has it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a lovely, family-run bakery! We stopped by one morning to pick up snacks for a hike (spinach pastry, cheese and ham, and just cheese - all yum!). But the best part was one of the owners noticed me doing a video of the pastry spread and a photo of the shop. She happily told me to go in the back of the shop (no customers there) where the old woman was baking pastries in a giant oven. Was cool!
