β β β β β Very good restaurant. The atmosphere and the service were great and the people very kind . The food was great and the quality in copmarisonn with the price I think it was logical. The only disadvantage was that there wasn't any treat like a sweet or fruit.

The motivation to write about Fotis (the owner of the tavern) was not the food which, as everyone says, is the best in the area. The reason was the atmosphere that prevails in the place where when you come for the first time you feel that at the most tables are Fotis' friends. Fotis will quickly find a way to break the ice and, if you open yourself, you will feel like knowing him for long time. Fotis primarily sells the art of communication, an aspect of the greek hospitality that is being lost in favour of a bad concept of tourism. And the place is aptly named "methexis" which in the forgotten greek means "mental participation".
Judging by the foreigners found there and their participation either in discussions or dances, I consider Fotis as a truly effective ambassador of our country.

β β β β β This was a good place some years ago. When I arrived I needed to wait about 15-20min while they had free tables available, which were still not taken when I left. I asked for something to drink while waiting, nothing happened. I didn't get everything what I ordered - but I should pay a water which I didn't ordered. The lamp chops were only fat no meat. Service was difficult, not informed, stressed and unfriendly. When I told them about the lamp chops they said no sorry or something. Still I had to pay the full price. It's sad to see a place ruined like this. My first really bad experience with restaurants in this area. I went some were else afterwards to have dinner.

β β β β β Food is lovely and the owner makes you feel so welcome. Tonight there was a bouzouki band playing and the atmosphere was wonderful. Excellent value for money.

β β β β β Average. Nice location and good service. The atmosphere was quite hectical. Larger groups get a table easier. Couples are sent away if the chef sees that he can fill the tables with more people. The food was good standard Greek cuisine, nothing outstanding compared to other restaurants in the neighbourhood. Prices are appropriate.
