Ο ναός της Αγίας Σοφίας, καθαρά δυτικότροπου προσανατολισμού, έχει πολλά κοινά στοιχεία με άλλους ναούς των Δομινικανών στη Δύση. Παρά τα λιγοστά αρχιτεκτονικά λείψανα που διασώζονται, η Αγία Σοφία της Ανδραβίδας θεωρείται πολύ σημαντική για τη μελέτη της γοτθικής αρχιτεκτονικής στην Πελοπόννησο κατά τη διάρκεια της Φραγκοκρατίας. The Hagia Sophia in Andravida, a building of the Dominican solitary order, was a three-aisled wooden-roofed basilica, of which only the sanctuary and the side chapels survive. The Hagia Sophia, a purely Western-style church, has much in common with other Dominican temples in the West. Despite the few surviving architectural remains, the Hagia Sophia in Andravida is considered very important for the study of Gothic architecture in the Peloponnese during the Frankish occupation.

Η αρχιτεκτονική της είναι Γοτθική με έντονο ύφος της βυζαντινής περιόδου και ακόμα και σήμερα που σώζεται πολύ καλά αν και έχει πολλά προβλήματα, παραμένει λαμπερή και μοναδική όπως και την εποχή των διαδόχων του Πριγκιπάτου. Πανέμορφο σημείο, όχι τόσο πολύ αξιοποιημενο. Θα μπορούσε να αξιοποιηθεί περαιτέρω δεδομένου ότι φέρει ένα συμβολισμό σημαντικό από την εποχή των Βιλλεαρδουινων και διατηρείται πάρα πολύ καλά The church of Hagia Sophia was built in 1230 AD. and in this church the coronations of the Princes of Morea took place. Its architecture is Gothic with a strong style of the Byzantine period and even today it is very well preserved although it has many problems, it remains as brilliant and unique as the time of the successors of the Principality. Beautiful spot, not so much used. It could be further exploited as it bears an important symbolism from the time of the Villehardouins and is very well preserved
