★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Als Selbstversorger-Tourist sollte man diesen Markt auf jeden Fall besucht haben, hier gibt es eine Vielzahl frischen Fisch (besonders lecker war das Rochenfilet!) und frisches Obst und Gemüse. Die Preise sind auch gut, für das Kilo Rochenfilet haben wir 7€ gezahlt, das Kilo Sardinen lag bei 3€. Auch ohne etwas zu kaufen ist es einfach interessant das bunte Treiben zu beobachten.
 As a self-catering tourist you should have visited this market in any case, here there is a variety of fresh fish (especially delicious was the ray fillet!) And fresh fruit and vegetables. The prices are also good, for the Kilo roast fillet we paid 7 €, the kilo of sardines was 3 €. Even without buying anything, it is simply interesting to watch the hustle and bustle.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the local market in Corfu and offers an amazing experience be it if you want to buy fresh local fish or vegetables & fruits or only to have a look and enjoy the colors of the season.
You can find here various local fishes like bass, sea bream (dorada), red snapper, mussels, octopus, olive oil and olives, lime and lemon, cactus pear, pomegranate, figs etc and the products are less pricy than in the tourist shops :)
