Fun Beach - Fun Beach

Worse experience we had in Halkidiki since coming in the area (few years already). AVOID any hotel or restaurant reservations linked to this place !!!!! The little guy ordering around is the expression of rudeness. I have absolutely no idea how he can maintain that job; if involved in any in management and/or ownership, the situation is even more inexplicable...prices are ridiculous high, but foremore annoying is the attitude, completely out of proportion reactions and lack of judgment in administrating common situations. There is lady also in the premisses, not sure what her job was exactly other then insulting the potential customers. The place is adult only, which is a concept I respect, but this fact is not indicated nowhere and was not pointed our either verbally when we were invited in with a 7 yr old. Odd to say the least ?...later on they were annoyed there is a kid playing in the sand near the sand beds we agreed to pay a 10euro tax ?. ....... and argued their place is a “beach cafe sun beds....” smth.... not clear where they were trying to head to.....and whatever concept they are trying to put in place but is clearly not working- their place is on the beach, nearby tens of other pleasant beach bars. So, just AVOID them, there is no consistency in their concept/ behaviour or total lack of respect for customers!

Dear Grumpy, you own the best beach bar in Greece. During my stay with most bevarages we did receive free water and with beer chips. The owner wanted us to wash our selves before going inside but that was ok. Everithing was kept at a level he did charge little bit more, but his bevarages ware way better. See you soon again. :)

Worst beach bar in neos marmaras definitely... it is not a problem that they charge 5 euros per person but when you like to sit away from the sun they charge 20 euros per person. The waiters are rude and the guy in charge is the worst. He said with attitude if you like to sit in my place you will pay 40 euros (we are 2 people) That arrogant little s.hit... if its possible i would give zero stars... their wc doesn’t work on top of everthing. No wonder there are no people more than 4 during the day...

It's not just Fun Beach, it's what is generally catered for on most of Halkidiki - Eastern fancies. Having visited a fair number of beaches and resorts on the first and second fingers of the peninsula, I have come to conclude that the beaches and the beach bars cater to the needs of the patrons, who enjoy themselves by doing what they do in the pub and at home, namely smoke, drink, and shout at each other, the difference being that they don't have to go the toilet to pee, everybody does it in the sea anyway. If you want to lie next to these people, second-hand smoke their cigarettes and listen to the melody of their voices, that's the right place. If you are looking to relax on a pristine beach while enjoying nothing but the sound of the waves and the smell of the sea, look elsewhere, dear traveler.

This was the best beach bard on Neos Marmaras last year. The prices ware little bit higher but the quality was exceeding all the competition. The best service that we got was there and it was by far the cleanest beach bar of all of them. The owner was a bit grumpy but that made the say even more fun. We still call him the Grumpy.

Positive: The beach.. Negative: The owner is the worst hoste i ever meet. The beach boy too. The sunbeds are not included, they ask for a 20€ consumation per day. Sandwichs for lunch and no brekfast. Staff was present after 9.30. The smallest bathroom i ever saw. Hot water just for 1 shover. The another person have to wait. On the beach you are not allowed to "disturb " the sand. Kids are not allowed to play in sand. The frappe was just colored water and the most expensive on the beach(4€). The room was very small and noisy. And is much left to say. Nothing good. We had to move to the next beach were the sunbeds are free and the frappe was excelent (3.50 €)..

Been there for 5 minutes. The charge is 10 euros for the sun beds, the drinks are extra. We said ok for the beds. The problem appeared when our kid started playing in the sand. The manager camed angry and told us that is not allowed for children to play and we need to go. Most disturbing was the atitudine of the employees, extreamlly rude, totally disporportionated reacțions - one of the employee (a man) got down to the kid and scared the kid with disproportionate gestures Is funny that the FUN beach does not allow any fun.

Even though at first we were told that drinks and food are not required if you pay for the sun beds, we were later asked/forced to order drinks. The owner is constantly looking at the people that are staying at the bar and is extremly rude to customers if they bring their own water or anything else to the beach. Couple that sat next to us were yelled at because they both layed on one sunbed. Horrible experience.
