★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Deeply disappointed. Quality has gone down since our last visit. A change in their chef was obvious.There were terrible smells of sewage from time to time. The cutlery dirty and every plate that came out of the kitchen was badly broken. I know times are tough but what happened to pride in one's business.? A place not worth visiting...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Traditional Greek "meze" tavern. Ask for "tsipouro me meze" and you won't be disappointed. In fact you will be delighted. The host chooses the best dishes to accompany your tsipouro. Everything was fresh and delicious. We were served four different kinds of fish , octopus, shrimp, fried fish eggs, grilled cheese and various other delicacies that change every day depending on what is available and fresh in the local fish market. The service was quick and polite. "Galanos tsipouradiko" is located next to a church and a modern and safe playground for the younger members of your group.
The price came out a little over 10€ per person. If you order from the menu this would of course increase. Tip: All prices for fresh seafood are per kilo (uncooked) unless specifically mentioned in the menu.
All in all a great dining experience. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a spectacular dinner here. Order the tsipouro and the small dishes start arriving. Two of us ordered 2 drinks, and all 7 dishes were astounding. Incredible experience, and remarkably inexpensive. Don’t miss this place when you’re in Volos. In fact, it’s worth the trip to come here.
