I really like this monastery, with its powerful energy. Here are the relics of St. Righteous John of Russia. The service is every day from 5 p.m. Schedules can change (for example, during Lent, the service began at 18:00 and lasted 1.5 hours) There is a Russian-speaking monk .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Russisch-orthodoxes Kloster mit einer sehr schönen kleinen Kirche. Man fährt von Pefkohori ca 4 km über eine -teilweise- unausgebaute Straße immer bergan, um das ganze Anwesen zu erreichen. Hier leben und wohnen noch einige Mönche. Wie wir hörten, werden sogar von den Mönchen Führungen vorgenommen. Auch Messen werden hier gelesen. Ganz in der Nähe befindet sich noch eine kleine Kapelle. Hier herrscht eine wunderbare, beruhigende Stille! Zur Zeit unseres Besuches im Mai, konnten wir direkt neben dem Kloster den herrlichen Gesang von Nachtigallen erleben! Wundervoll!??
Russian Orthodox monastery with a very nice little church. You drive from Pefkohori about 4 km over a -partweise- undeveloped road always uphill to reach the entire property. Here live and live a few monks. As we have heard, even the monks are making tours. Also fairs are read here. Nearby there is a small chapel. Here is a wonderful, calming silence! At the time of our visit in May, we could experience the wonderful song of nightingales right next to the monastery! Wonderful! ??
