★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We really enjoyed our dinner at George’s Restaurant. 4 people-4 appetizers- 4- mains. The Dakos salad was authentic ( everything was), excellent steak - huge. Fish of the day was very good. Really I have to say this was one of the best meals we have had on our long journey this fall.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Classic Greek Taverna, good menu, great staff, all seating is in the open air, some is under cover. The food is excellent, the portion sizes are more than ample! Considering it is the only Taverna in the port it is excellent! Fully recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have just eaten in George's in kalamos for the first time of the season 2022. The new menu is great especially the new cheese burger and the fisherman's spaghetti. The best taverna in kalamos with out a doubt ⛵

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Due to Covid its been two and a half years since we were last at Goerges Taverna on Kalamos. It is good to be back and see George and his staff providing a great service with and the quality of the food to their usual high standard.
The welcome you get here is special.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely set up and a great summer feel, however the service isn't the best. We waited over 2 hours for our food. I feel like this place is taking on more than they are capable of.
The bread which took 3 hours to come out and also it isn't free... The staff do try, however massive let down.
There is alot of potential in this restaurant, however greed is taking over.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent taverna right on the waters edge. We had a table outside right on the beach. Fantastic food and really welcoming staff. George helped us with our lines as we arrived by boat and gave us a very warm welcome.

The homemade beefburgers with salad, bacon and a fresh fried egg was possibly the best burger I have ever had.
Excellent friendly service and very reasonable prices.
