Είστε ένας εξαιρετικός άνθρωπος και επιστήμονας. Σας ευχαριστούμε που δώσατε χρόνο στο παιδί μας να γνωριστείτε. Σας ευχαριστούμε και για την κατεύθυνση που μας δώσατε.

Παρακολουθεί την κόρη μου, από τη γέννηση της έως σήμερα, δέκα χρόνια. Τον ευχαριστώ για την απόλυτη εμπιστοσύνη και ασφάλεια που νιώθω, για τη γλυκύτητα και ηρεμία που αντιμετωπίζει το παιδί μου.

During my pregnancy, my gynecologist sent me to Dr. Germanakis to have the heart of my future baby checked. Dr. Germanakis made me feel very comfortable during the whole examination, which, although very thorough, went very swiftly. Dr. Germanakis had to run the scanner in different places on my belly to get all the views that he needed, but it was never uncomfortable because the doctor was very gentle and also because instead of the usual ice-cold scanners at other doctors’ practices, his scanner was somehow lukewarm. After the examination, Dr. Germanakis explained to me all the details of his findings, using very clear explanations as well as 3-D models to show me how the heart functions develop in a foetus. He recommended additional check-ups after I told him I had difficulty sleeping because of pain in my hands, and he offered to see the baby again after the birth so he can control that everything is fine. I felt in very good hands throughout the visit. It is worth mentioning that Dr. Germanakis's office felt both warm and safe. Covid-19 safety measures are strictly followed: you must wear your mask and are given gel to wash your hands as you enter, as well as a pair of gloves. Also, the entrance to the actual examination room has a special sticky carpet on which you have to wipe your shoes so you also get rid of any bacteria before entering. There is also very soothing music playing in the waiting room, which definitely helps convey a warm and relaxed atmosphere. Last but not least, I was highly impressed by Dr. Germanakis's perfect command of English. Though I have been living in Greece for a few years, I am still very much struggling with the language and not being able to fully understand one's doctor just adds unnecessary stress to any medical visit. On top of Greek and English, I understand that Dr. Germanakis also speaks German.
