Ιδρύθηκε το 1945 απο τον παππού Θωμά Γκιλομανάκη, ο οποίος υπήρξε ένας από τους καλύτερους ραφτάδες στην πόλη του Βόλου, με πελάτες τους μεγαλοδικηγόρους και επιχειρηματίες της εποχής και αρκετά χρόνια αργότερα το 1974 την σκυτάλη παρέλαβε ο Γεώργιος Γκιλομανάκης που συνέχισε το επάγγελμα του εμποροράπτου, με ακόμη μεγαλύτερη επιτυχία από τον προκάτοχό του. Η βαριά αυτή κληρονομιά συνεχίζεται μέχρι σήμερα, από τον εγγονό και υιο Θωμά Γκιλομανάκη, που επάξια συντηρεί την φήμη ενός καταστήματος που πρωτοπορεί στο γαμπριάτικο κοστούμι και στο sport ντύσιμο.
Εκεί θα βρείτε και ορισμένες από τις πιο γνωστές εταιρείες στο χώρο του ανδρικού ενδύματος.
One of the oldest shops I remember in our city.
It was founded in 1945 by grandfather Thomas Gilomanakis, who was one of the best tailors in the city of Volos, with clients the lawyers and businessmen of the time and several years later in 1974 the baton was taken over by George Gilomanakis who continued the profession of merchant, even greater success than its predecessor. This heavy legacy continues to this day, by the grandson and son Thomas Gilomanakis, who deservedly maintains the reputation of a store that pioneers in bridal suit and sportswear.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Εξαιρετική εξυπηρέτηση από τον βαθύ γνώστη του αντικειμένου του ,κ.Θωμά. .. μπορεί εσύ ο ίδιος να μην ξέρεις τι νούμερο φοράς ή ποια γραμμή σου ταιριάζει , ο κ. Θωμάς με μια ματιά το αντιλαμβάνεται. Το κατάστημα διαθέτει όλες τις γνωστές εταιρείες επωνύμων ρούχων ( είναι ο μόνος που έχει τα Barbour στον Βόλο) . Οι τιμές : λογικότατες .
Excellent service from the deep connoisseur of his subject, Mr. Thomas. .. you may not know what number you are wearing or which line suits you, Mr. Thomas realizes it at a glance. The store has all the well-known clothing companies (it is the only one that has Barbour in Volos). Prices: very reasonable.
