The, I assume owner and baker, was super kind and sweet. Seemed happy to be making and serving delicious baked goods! We got a potato pie, 4 white cookies, baklava and almond chocolate cookie. They were all great, but would recommend the pie and baklava most. Go check this place out! All of it was only 13 euro.

Great pastries! Me and my friend ordered a wide variety to split and they were all fantastic! The pies and baklava were especially good.

This is the oldest bakery in the island, recipes and techniques have passed down generation to generation. Wonderful bakes made with Phyllo dough and all sort of sweets. Personally we tried the spinach and feta pie, it was great. We got serviced by the owner himself and it was impecable. I do have to accept that the pastries are a bit pricy but from my perspective well worthy.

This sure is a gem of a place! The owners are kind and serve with a huge dollop of smile. Their pricing is fair such as 1€ for all the cookies and some at .50€! My favourites were the almond and their gluten free sesame balls. Very lovely seating options too and the entrance is very rustic too! We love this place and almost visited multiple times on a single day alone! I would totally recommend a visit to this place.

Gioras is the oldest working bakery on Mykonos Island. It has a small nondescript entrance. However once you enter and descend down the stairs, you immediately spot a wide assortment of cookies, pies, and pastries. We tried out the (i) Chocolate Almond Cookie, (ii) Chocolate Truffle and (iii) Spinach Pie. They all tasted fresh and delicious, and we especially liked the Truffle. Pricing is fairly reasonable (1€, 2€ per piece) considering the standard benchmark of Mykonos Town. The interiors of the place are rustic and old school with a few tables to enjoy your quick snack.

The place is awesome, the goods look amazing, and the staff are wonderful, patient and kind. But the older guy who seems to run the place thinks it’s ok to smoke inside the bakery 1 table from all the baked goods. And when customers come in, he will put the cigarette down and grab bags and napkins for customers. Stop smoking in the bakery dude. And wash your hands.

Very old family run, traditional, wood fired Greek bakery. Loved the Greek biscuits we bought here so much that we went back the next day for seconds. Can thoroughly recommend the kourabiedes- round almond biscuits covered in icing sugar. they are even better than the ones my mum used to make (and hers are pretty good!) Like everything in Chora though, it is tricky to find. It’s a bit of a maze to navigate your way there and it is in a basement so quite easy to miss if you don’t keep your eyes peeled but definitely look out for it.

Hidden gem. Happened to see it when walking by. Little basement bakery family run. Fresh pastries. Exactly what I was looking for on my trip. Must stop spot, not commercialized or touristy at all.
