Didn’t disappoint, parked higher and walked down the quaint stairs saying hi to the local Yayya and Bappoo’s. Only people here we had front row seat with cool breeze away from the sun and wind. Partner had mixed grill (massive for 1 person but he wanted to tie the meat) I had cheese balls, Greek salad and we had a polenta dip complimentary. Food was traditional and tasty, no complaints. We also had a frappe and homemade cherry drink which reminded my partner of his childhood. Worth the trip and such a beautiful quiet location for your Naxos visit.

It has modern features mixed with traditional Greek taverna style and I was sooo surprised to see they have a changing table for babies. Very family friendly! The food is very good. We had rabbit and grilled rooster which were both very soft and tasty. Do not miss this restaurant while you are @ Melanes in Naxos.

The place respects the Greek raw ingredients and keeps alive the essence of the Greek taste. We got the rooster and the “Kalogiros”, along with appetizers. Everything was amazing and the stuff was super friendly. A definite must-visit place if you want to experience the original Greek cuisine. P.S. Remember to order the grilled feta cheese!!!
