About GIORGOS SIDERIS PHOTOGRAPHY
Hi, I’m George and I’m a wedding photographer based in Athens, Greece. I discovered that photography is my passion in my early 20’s, a realization which led me to drop out of University and pursue my true calling. After spending some time in Paris experimenting with styles and equipment, I enrolled in photography classes at Leica Academy in Athens. Ten years later, here I am, a full-time photographer and a family man. My wife and I recently became the proud parents of a baby girl, who has definitely become my other passion in life. So, when I’m not holding my camera, I spend as much time as possible with my family.
As a photographer, I approach my work with the utmost devotion. I love witnessing and capturing people on their most important day of their lives, striving to achieve the best result. And experience has shown me it is important that I make a connection with them, in order to create an environment where everyone feels comfortable and natural. Most people usually tell me that they don’t want to or know how to pose. Well, that’s exactly what I don’t want you to do. In fact, my advice is to be as relaxed and real as possible, because to me that’s the key to an outstanding photograph.
