★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Get the jam with whole almonds...wonderful. All homemade. Loukoumia are terrific as are the breads. The wines look interesting but I don't drink. Would have liked to try some.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In a region famous for portokalopita (Greek orange cake), we put theirs to the test alongside those from another nearby place called Yialos (which I can’t find on Google Maps); from Aiolos Taverna; and from our digs, Pension Marianna. Sadly we all agreed that this one came last (Yialos came first). The karydopita (Greek walnut cake) wasn’t bad, but too sweet. Perhaps their other sweets are better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Favourite bakery in Nafplio. Their cake/pie slices are homemade traditionally so they have no dairy (and are sooo delicious). The chocolate cake is to die for. We were in Nafplio for 6 days and went back here 4 times. The people working here are so nice, and the cookies look amazing!
