The landscape is beautiful, but the food could be better

I wish there was 0 star! 20€ for sunbeds and an umbrella- probably okay- but self service? Why on earth paying so much if I don't have the basics such as service? In addition, the toilets were the worst and most dirty I have ever seen! Of course I didn't have lunch there.. everything was so disgusting! Bonus: the guy for the sunbeds was sooo rude but obviously they don't care about the customers only getting the money from them!

Really lovely local authentic Greek run taverna which over looks the beach. Greek salad, calamari, chicken grill all really good. The people who run it are super friendly. 100% would recommend.

All fur coat & no knickers as they say in the U.K.- looks the part but Questionable Hygiene, mediocre food at best, despite exceptionally high prices. We stumbled across this taverna today, hoping for great food with a lovely view of the sea. It looks very traditional, the place looks fab nestled slightly back from the beach. However I felt somehow cheated of great Greek food & basic Greek hospitality from the off. What would have helped, a clean updated menu with good pictures to match the price tag. The food being of good quality to match the price tag. 8.50 for 1/2 litre of house rose is high by Corfu standards. As is 13.50 for the worst moussaka I’ve ever had. 13.50 euros for frozen prawns & melted cheese. The pizza looked like a pre frozen deep pan, and was ok albeit it expensive for what it was. And worst of all the waiter that served us in his iron maiden tea shirt, looked at though he had just been repairing a greasy engine. Sadly I didn’t notice this until after we ordered, but when I did I was surprised at how grimy his finger nails & hands were which totally put off of eating the food. I have to ask myself if those basics aren’t being taken care of, what might the kitchen hygiene be like.

Highest price of our whole trip in exchange of the lowest quality food. Moussaka was still semi frozen and the Greek salad... I have seen less dry deserts. The audacity of serving such poor quality food for that price is huge. If your restaurant is located on the best spot of the beach and has barely no clients ask yourself why.

Excellent authentic Greek cuisine. Good value, delicious food and a short walk from Domes of Corfu. Lovely views of the beach. Not sure what all of the negative reviews are talking about, give it a try - support local independents, it was great.

Awfull food , don’t even go near this place! The french fries are so full of oil that they should name it french fries soup. The chicken was not grilled, i’ve kindly asked them to grill them and they bringed it back almost the same, thats when i’ve had enough and walked away. The tomato in the greek salad was not fresh and the pizza my wife ordered was a joke as well, even the ketchup was bubbling because it was old and boiled from the heath. Don’t waste your time and nerve here! And the owner didn’t even apologize he was angry why we didn’t want to pay and gave this feedback for the food.
